Self-Guided Visits

There are many ways to greatly enhance your self-guided Museum visit. Students can watch live performances, touch Museum objects, conduct experiments, and much more!

  • Get curious and explore hands-on science activities specially designed for students 3–10 years old.

  • Visit our newest permanent exhibition, Expedition Health.  The Summit Science Stage in Expedition Health features engaging shows and health science demonstrations throughout the day.

  • Let knowledgeable Museum Galaxy Guides lead the way as your students investigate using hands-on exhibits, live performances, and demonstrations.

  • Ever wondered what it would be like to speak to someone from the past? Historical enactors in Botswana Hall, Explore Colorado, Edge of the Wild, and other halls portray characters such as naturalists and adventurers keen on studying the world of insects, plants, and animals.

Scholarships are available for bus reimbursements, programs at the Museum, and at your school.
